As I let Go

As I Let Go

after waging an internal and external fight

the battle to hold on to

a way of being that doesn’t serve

my heart or yours

surrendering the superfluous

I experience an exhaustion

weighted in my form

relief in authenticity

a quiet peace makes

its presence known

ensuing

grace and rest
